    That last line is not entirely my own, I’m pretty sure. Quite certain I heard something like that either from a sponsor or someone else with time in the program. So yeah, there is something to be said for listening. 🙂

    Thank you for sharing. I am powerless over drugs and I also don’t know if I have hit rock bottom. It seems it could be a lot worse so I don’t believe I have hit rock bottom. Is it really neccessary to hit rock bottom in order to recover? Or is it enough to just admit you have an addiction and you need help?

    I believe we each hit bottom when we decide to stop digging. 🙂 Just getting to the point where one can admit to themselves that they have a problem and need help–and are willing to do whatever is necessary to recover.
