You’d be surprised how many people won’t admit that.

Ok, so you’ve identified your problem.

…and now, just like all problems, it’s time to work on the solution.

You say you can’t drink. How do you go about doing that?

Can you, honestly, on your own will power, not drink?

can I on my own will power? well I can start on my own…. but I’ll need help keeping with it. I know this – I’ve done it (for a stretch) but I didn’t commit. I thought “I’m good now, I can do this, I can manage, so let’s go have a drink”
this time around— I realize that there is no managing, it just can’t exist….
so maybe I’ll start with sit ups for every time I want the drink. (that’s flippant I know)

I wasn’t able to stop on my own. If I could, then I would have, but then I probably wouldn’t be the type of alcoholic I am.

AA saved my life, removed the obsession of drinking, and gave me a design for living without alcohol.

I’m not special though. It can work for you too.

I’ve got a litte over a year and yes, it’s tough at times and life sucks sometimes too, but my life has improved dramatically.

Let me know if I can be of any help.

    Kjell
