On Saturday May 21 2011, New Method Wellness will host a special Live Concert Charity Fundraiser to benefit the Ashland Home and Charle Street.;
Event Location is at the newly-opened
New Method Wellness Treatment Facility

The event will run from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm and will entertain guests with live music from multi award-winning Folk Americana artist Cathy-Anne McClintock.

This free concert is to raise public awareness about addiction treatment and to support Charle Street and Ashland Home in their gracious efforts.

There will be auctions of gift baskets from local artisans and businesses to raise funds. Called “edgy and hip while still strongly reflecting her bluegrass influences”, Cathy.Anne McClintock is a finalist in the 6th Annual International Acoustic Music Awards (lAMA). She is nominated in the Best Groupl Duo category for her duet with Alan Doyle of Great Big Sea, “No Matter What.”

The purpose of the Ashland Home is to provide a safe and caring environment for women to get sober with dignity and build a foundation for recovery. Ashland Home opened its doors in 1998 to help women at no cost to them. Since then, more than 1800 women have been introduced to a sober way of living through the healing environment Ashland Home offers.
Charle Street, founded in 1952, provides a new beginning for the lives of men during their ten day stay in the house. Charle Street is a short-term residential facility providing caring support, room, board. toiletries, and clothing for up to twenty-one recovering alcoholics. It is the only facility of its kind in Orange County that offers this scope of assistance free of charge to the men it serves.
